Allen Reference Atlas

This is the online help for the ALLEN Reference Atlas: Interactive Atlas Viewer.

The Interactive Atlas Viewer is an application from which you can view annotated versions of Nissl sections from several Allen Brain Atlas resources.

The Reference Atlas for the Allen Mouse Brain Atlas includes a sagittal and a coronal atlas annotated by Dr. Hong Wei Dong. The sagittal atlas contains 21 sections spaced at 200 microns and annotated for 71 structures. The coronal atlas contains 132 sections spaced at 100 microns and annotated for over 800 structures (including cortical layers).
