Searching the Database
With In the current launch release of the Allen Cell Types Database, we include electrophysiological recordings from over 900 individual 1058 mouse cells and 279 human cells, a subset of which also include morphological reconstruction and Neuronal Models. There are several methods to search this database; 1) enable specific filter parameters by selecting from the "Filters" menu, 2) select a cell from the "Cell Location" map, 3The Cell Feature Search page allows you to find cells whose associated properties satisfy certain conditions. For example, you can choose to select only cells from a certain species and a certain cortical layer. You can also use this page to find cells for which a specific type of data is available. For example, you can choose to select only cells for which there are not only electrophysiological data, but also models for that data and also morphological reconstructions.
You can set conditions on discrete properties by menu selections at the top of the page.
There are several methods to search this database; 1) enable specific filter parameters by selecting from the "Filters" menu, 2) use the slider bars in the Parallel Coordinate Plot or 4) select from one of the curated Electrophysiological or Morphological searches.
